A wind chime born from the accidental harmony of clay and sound.
It began by chance — when a tea bowl prototype was gently struck, a clear, resonant tone filled the air.
That accidental sound inspired the creation of a wind chime — one that carries both silence and movement within its ring.
This piece is part of the “=K+” project, where tradition and innovation come together in harmony, bringing beauty and quiet joy to everyday life.

The slender stand frame is crafted from durable stainless steel — elegantly minimal yet remarkably stable.
Its base features a double-circle design that balances delicate form with grounded strength.
Suspended from the frame hangs a wind catcher made of finely thinned natural wood, gently swaying with each passing breeze.

Suzuno-ne is finished entirely by hand, making each piece one of a kind.
Its voice is unique as well—no two chimes sound exactly the same.
Like a musical instrument with its own range and resonance, the wind chime’s tone shifts subtly with the materials and the way each piece is fired.
The white finish of Suzuno-ne employs a porcelain glaze known as “flower crystal.”
During firing the glaze melts, and as it cools, crystals emerge as if blooming—nature’s own, one-of-a-kind artistry.
Like flowers opening on the vessel, the pattern is luminous and translucent, with an elegant, subtly lustrous sheen.

Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki, traditional crafts nurtured in Kyoto—the city of a thousand years—are ceramics that have evolved with the times while preserving their diverse techniques and graceful designs.
